COLIN TURKINGTON TO BEGIN BTCC TESTING FOLLOWING SILVERSTONE SUPER TOURER OUTING

  • Colin Turkington will return to the wheel of his current BTCC BMW 330e today, as Team BMW’s official pre-season testing begins at Donington Park.
  • Turkington is fresh out of an old West Surrey Racing run MG after competing in the CTCRC Super Tourers at Silverstone last weekend (26th March).
  • Driving the Jason Hughes owned MG ZS, the four time BTCC Champion took to the track with legends from the past such as John Cleland and former team mate Anthony Reid.
  • Colin last drove an BTCC MG back in 2006 for Team RAC.
  • Keen to get down to business, the now Team BMW driver is itching to get his pre-season hybrid testing programme underway.

BTCC TESTING

Team BMW will test today at Donington Park before heading North to Croft later next week. The final test day will take place at a special public event at Thruxton on 13th April.
