SILVERSTONE TEST COMPLETES PRE-SEASON

FINAL TEST DAY AT SILVERSTONE COMPLETES PRE-SEASON PROGRAMME FOR TEAM BMW

• Colin Turkington signed off his pre-season testing programme yesterday (Monday 20th July) around the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
• The Team BMW duo of Turkington and Oliphant completed a successful day on the sun drenched track, in dry and consistent conditions.
• With testing now complete the team will begin preparations for the BTCC season opener in less than two weeks time at Donington Park.
• Turkington feels confident with the BMW 3 series following his productive time on track and is excited to finally go racing.

It felt great to get such uninterrupted running yesterday; the sunny dry weather provided consistent conditions to test with and we made the most of our time with a very busy programme.

I feel up to speed with my driving and am confident with the car. I’m looking forward to finally going racing and there’s a real buzz building! There was this lengthy period of uncertainty around sport during the past few months, but now it’s exciting. A summer of sport is just around the corner!
