GOODYEAR TEST AT DONINGTON

COLIN TURKINGTON VISITS DONINGTON PARK WITH GOODYEAR AHEAD OF BTCC SEASON OPENER

• BTCC Champion tests Goodyear high performance road tyres at Donington Park in BMW M2 Competition.
• The Team BMW driver completed an evening’s testing for Goodyear; the new official tyre partner of the British Touring Car Championship.
• Turkington provided feedback on the Eagle F1 SuperSport tyre for the road going BMW M2.

“I’m seriously impressed by the very direct feel, the front of the car points straight away towards the apex. That’s what I want on the race track.

“Donington is tough on tyres, with a couple of corners such as the Old Hairpin and Macleans where I’m braking hard and turning at the same time. Nevertheless, the response and stability gives me the confidence to attack fast corners. The stiffer sidewall gives me the feel and feedback I need in these fast curves.”

BTCC SEASON OPENER

Donington Park will host the BTCC season opener next weekend 1st / 2nd August.
