COUNTDOWN TO CROFT
TURKINGTON KEEN TO FIND THE NEXT LEVEL

- Colin Turkington will return to the seat of his WSR-run Team BMW 3 Series this weekend, as the second half of the 2024 BTCC season resumes at Croft Circuit.
- Currently 6th in the Championship standings following some misfortune at Oulton Park, the 4-time Champ is determined to start afresh after the mid-season break.
- With his bad luck now behind him and with 15 races still to come, Turkington is keen to ‘play his way back in’ to the championship fight by making the most of the BTCC Hybrid rules.
- We saw a glimpse of this incredible resolve last time out at Oulton Park with a sensational drive from last to 7th! READ ABOUT IT HERE!
- Goodyear’s Soft, Medium and Hard compound tyres will all be raced this Sunday, creating a tyre strategy conversation that is sure to become a key factor.
- Catch all the action LIVE on ITV4 from 11:15am and every race LIVE around the world on TikTok this Sunday 28th July.

HEAR FROM COLIN
“The mid-season break was a welcomed hiatus from the full-on BTCC campaign. It’s been great to properly reset and really get back into the groove for the second half of the season. It’s not been easy taking a few knocks over the more recent rounds and not getting the rewards for our efforts, but our strength will be shown in how we respond.
We have 15 races still to come and so much can happen in that space of time. The new rules and impact of the Hybrid Energy Management system should allow me to play myself back into the title fight and hopefully get on the tails of those in front.
To do that we need to take the package to the next level consistently from here on in and that’s what we’re gunning for! I’m hoping for some better luck and looking forward to getting our second half fired up this weekend. Croft has always been a favourite circuit of mine and our pace in the BMW has always been strong there.
Let’s go!”
