  • Team BMW’s Colin Turkington is aiming to end the year on a high and continue his recent top form.
  • The 4-time champ may be out of contention for the overall crown, but his pace has been phenomenal lately, qualifying on the the front row at every event since the summer break.

  • Read about Colin’s front row qualifying and second place finish here!
  • Abundant in pace but lacking in lady luck, the BMW driver has been involved in a couple of unfortunate incidents this season, that have hampered his chances of title contention.
  • Nevertheless, his passion, dedication and flair have provided sensational entertainment to the BTCC, BMW and Turkington fans throughout the year.
  • Aiming to move up the order in the championship table, Colin is fired up to end his season on a high around one of his favourite UK circuits.

HEAR FROM COLIN

“It just hasn’t been my year for the championship this time. You need things to go your way and unfortunately, my bad luck has tallied up ruling me out of contention. Everyone has their story why it hasn’t come together for them, and for me, there were a few things that cost me valuable points.

Nevertheless, I’m proud I’ve given my all this season and despite things not going my way, have kept pushing and fighting. Now, the aim is to carry on with our recent form and pick up some more podiums. There’s a big battle on for the drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles; and if I can deliver the personal results I’m after – this should help get that over the line.

It’s going to be thrilling weekend of racing as everyone wants to end successfully and make their way further up the championship table. Brands GP is a fantastic circuit and I’m excited about getting out there, with everything to gain and putting on a great show for the fans!”
